This fall you are invited to join women from all seasons of life and choose to see how your life can be changed when you hide God’s Word in your heart. If you are considering a study for the first time, you will find a great group of women who are so excited you have come. Every year our studies provide a great starting point for women who have never studied their Bible before. There is never any pressure to share, speak, read or pray in our small groups. Most studies offered are divided up into smaller groups for a discussion time and then come together for a large group video teaching by the author.

Childcare is provided for all studies.

1 Corinthians: Living Love When We Disagree 7 Week Study

The cultural backdrop of Corinth was even more overtly sinful than our culture today; yet Paul boldly encouraged the Corinthian Christians not to ridicule one another or outsiders but to work together to show the love of Christ. In this seven-week First Corinthians study, we will explore Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians to learn how we as Christians are to deal with differences and divisions – whether in the workplace, neighborhood, school, home, social media community, or church. We’ll discover that the answer is living and sharing the radical love of Jesus Christ, and we’ll unpack what this means and how we can live it out day by day.

Shaken: 4 Week Study

Have you ever questioned God’s plan? Wondered why life has unraveled in an unexpected direction? Struggled with disappointment or doubted your purpose in life? Many of us have.

Riding the rollercoaster of highs and lows in his NFL journey, Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow has learned what it means to be grounded in who you are no matter what life throws your way.

Viewers of Shaken will be encouraged and reminded that:

  • A secure identity is born only out of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • In the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles, God is ultimately in control

Numbers: Learning Contentment in a Culture of More: 7 Week Study

Something in us aches for more—more hope, more joy, more freedom. All around us people are dancing to the steps of bigger, better, and faster, and we can easily join in without even realizing it. Before long complaining and comparing accompany our desire for more, yet we’re not any closer to filling the ache inside. God offers us another way.

In this study of the Book of Numbers, we’ll find a group of people that wandered in the desert for forty years, unable to enter the Promised Land because of their complaining, grumbling, and lack of faith. The New Testament tells us that their story was written to warn us (1 Corinthians 10:6) so that we would not make the same mistakes and suffer the same consequences. God sent his only Son to die to buy our freedom from the sin that leads to discontentment, and we find our own promised land of peace and contentment in the life he gives us.

By exploring Numbers we can come to identify the reasons for our complaining, learn contentment while being authentic about the difficulties of life, accept short-term hardship in light of the greater good of God’s ultimate deliverance, recognize the relationship between complaining and worry, and discover how to realign with God’s character and promises.Together we will learn contentment as we discover more of our incredible God who truly is more than enough.

Jonah: Navigating a LIfe Interrupted: 6 Week Study

What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! In this 7-session Bible study, Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God’s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city.

Wednesday Evening Study: All Things New

All Things New by Kelly Minter

6:30pm Wednesday Evenings beginning September 5th
8 week Study – $25

All Things New – 8 Week Study

The city of ancient Corinth was much like our own modern-day cities: a melting pot of electrifying cultural experiences to be had, along with the myriad pitfalls of spiritual depravity. Still, Paul wrote to the Church of God in Corinth – meaning God’s Church is meant to thrive in any city and every circumstance in which we find ourselves. Paul’s letter is as timely as ever.

Over 8 sessions, Kelly Minter will lead you through the Letter of 2 Corinthians, exploring the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live
by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come.
