INTERN PROGRAM

Each summer, Stonebridge Church in The Woodlands, TX, offers a hands-on internship for college students, focusing on ministry experience. Interns develop relationships with students, create programming, lead events, and grow spiritually through courses. This internship emphasizes personal growth and aims to equip individuals for ministry.

WHAT SETS US APART

One of the things that sets our internship apart is our commitment to your growth! In addition to weekly accountability meetings with our ministry staff and hands on relational ministry experience, you will also get to grow in your faith through engaging with books and other resources geared to help with your spiritual development. Our hope is that through interning with us, you feel prepared to go into ministry, confident in how to make disciples, and encouraged in your calling as a believer.

FAQ

We are just north of Houston in The Woodlands, TX. Our goal as a church is to lead people into a healthy and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We have 1000 adults involved on a Sunday Morning and minister to 400 PK-12th grade students on a weekly basis.

All applicants must be one year removed from high school. Our interns must have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with our beliefs.

You’ll spend your mornings learning about ministry and gaining encouragement from our staff, but most of your week will be dedicated to hanging out with students. You’ll have opportunities for Sonic runs, meals, paintball, pottery outings, splash days, and more, while also assisting your designated ministry team with programming and Bible studies.

You’re in luck! This internship is paid with housing and per diem provided! $3300 for 11 weeks of work.

Yes! All-Intern Training will be May 18-22. We will go over everything you need to make the summer great! We will also give you resources throughout the summer and have mid-summer and end of summer evaluation so you know how you are doing  and where you can continue to grow.

You will stay in a host home and they will feed you when you are home! You will also get per diem for meals and meetings with students.
