CONNECT, GROW AND SERVE TOGETHER
StoneBridge Church offers small groups for adults and families in The Woodlands and surrounding communities, including Magnolia, Conroe and Montgomery. Groups meet on Wednesday evenings at our campus and in homes throughout the week in Montgomery and Harris Counties, giving people a welcoming place to build friendships, study the Bible, pray together and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Whether you are new to church, new to the area or simply looking for deeper Christian community, we will help you find a group that fits your location and stage of life. Our small groups bring adults, couples and families together in similar seasons, while additional opportunities for connection and Bible study are available through StoneBridge Women’s Ministry and Men’s Ministry.
At StoneBridge, we believe the gospel is most powerfully lived out through authentic, Christ-centered relationships. Small Groups are where faith becomes active as people encourage one another, grow in biblical knowledge and serve with purpose. Small Groups at a Glance
- Who: Adults, couples and families in a variety of life stages
- When: Most groups meet weekly; on-campus groups meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Where: StoneBridge Church and homes across Montgomery and Harris Counties
- What to expect: Bible discussion, prayer, friendship and encouragement
- Family programming: Childcare and age-appropriate programming are available on Wednesdays
Wednesday Night Small Groups in The Woodlands
More than 400 adults, children and students gather at StoneBridge on Wednesday evenings to grow in faith and community. Adults participate in small groups while children and students enjoy age-appropriate care, Bible study and programming designed especially for them.
This makes Wednesday nights a convenient way for the entire family to connect and grow in one place.
- Childcare: 8 weeks – Kindergarten
- MDWK Kids: 1st–4th grade
- MDWK Middle School: 5th – 6th grade
- MDWK Junior High: 7th – 8th grade
What Happens in a Small Group?
Small Groups are welcoming, relaxed gatherings where people can build genuine friendships and grow in their faith together. Each group is a little different, but most include time to connect, discuss the Bible or Sunday’s message, share what is happening in life and pray for one another.
You do not need to have all the answers or be at a certain place in your faith. Small Groups are designed to be a safe place to ask questions, receive encouragement and experience the kind of Christ-centered community that helps faith become part of everyday life.

Small Group FAQ
Small Groups typically include time to connect, discuss the Bible or Sunday’s message, share what is happening in life and pray for one another. Each gathering is relaxed, welcoming and usually lasts about 90 minutes.
Wednesday groups meet on campus; other groups meet in homes across Montgomery and Harris Counties.
Most of our small groups meet weekly! Meeting regularly builds stronger relationships and keeps the momentum going as you grow together in your relationship with Jesus. We know life can get busy, but by meeting regularly, you’ll still have plenty of opportunities to stay connected, even if you have to miss a week here and there.
Wednesday Night groups meet from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
Our Small Groups primarily bring together adults, couples and families in similar stages of life. We will help you find a group that fits your location and season. Additional opportunities for connection and Bible study are available through StoneBridge Men’s Groups and Women’s Bible Study.
No, you do not have to be a StoneBridge member to join a Small Group. Whether you are new to StoneBridge, exploring faith or looking for meaningful Christian community, you are welcome to participate.
Yes! While you attend an on-campus small group on Wednesday evenings, engaging, age-appropriate care and programming are available for children and students:
- Childcare: 8 weeks through Kindergarten
- Kids Programming: 1st through 4th grade
- Middle School Bible Study: 5th and 6th grade
- MDWK: Junior high students gather for games, worship, biblical teaching, and time in small groups.
These programs give every member of your family an opportunity to build relationships and grow in their faith while you participate in a small group.
Yes. You are welcome to join a Small Group even if you are new to Christianity or still exploring what you believe. You do not need to have extensive Bible knowledge or all the answers - just a willingness to connect, learn and grow alongside others.
Yes. StoneBridge Small Groups meet in homes throughout Magnolia, Conroe, Montgomery and other nearby communities, as well as on our campus in The Woodlands. Group availability varies, but our team will help you find an option that fits your location and stage of life.

Beyond The Meeting
As you grow in community, we encourage you to explore helpful tools that can strengthen your group experience. Try watching creative overviews of Scripture with the Bible Project, read through a YouVersion Bible plan together, or use other trusted devotionals and studies to continue growing throughout the week. You can also learn more about opportunities to serve as a group or explore ways your group can get involved in church-wide events and activities.
