Christian Support Groups and Care in The Woodlands
Life can bring seasons of grief, divorce, loss, addiction, loneliness and other difficult circumstances. You don’t have to walk through them alone. StoneBridge Church offers Christ-centered care, recovery and support groups in The Woodlands for people from Magnolia, Montgomery, Conroe and surrounding communities.
Through programs such as GriefShare and DivorceCare, StoneBridge care ministries, prayer, and independent recovery groups that meet on our campus, you can find encouragement, practical support and people who understand what you’re facing. Through Christ, healing and transformation are possible. If you would like prayer or encouragement during this season, we’re here for you.
Care and Support Ministries at StoneBridge
GriefShare Grief Support Group
GriefShare is a welcoming, Christ-centered grief support group for anyone grieving the death of a loved one. During this 13-week program, you’ll learn what to expect in grief, discover healthy ways to cope and receive encouragement from others who understand. GriefShare meets at StoneBridge Church in The Woodlands and is open anyone in the surrounding community.
STONEBRIDGE WIDOW'S MINISTRY
The StoneBridge Widow’s Ministry provides a welcoming place for friendship, prayer, encouragement, and care. We meet for lunch on the first Monday of each month. Each gathering includes a meal, a devotional, prayer, and time to connect with others in a supportive, Christ-centered community while building meaningful friendships along the way.
StoneBridge Senior Care ministry
The StoneBridge Senior Care Team supports senior adults who attend StoneBridge Church through caring volunteers who provide practical help, encouragement, prayer, and friendship – showing Christ’s love, offering meaningful support, and reminding them they are valued, cared for, and never alone throughout every season of life and whatever challenges it may bring.
DivorceCare and DivorceCare for Kids
DivorceCare is a Christ-centered divorce recovery support group for adults navigating separation or divorce. Participants receive practical guidance, encouragement and tools for moving forward, while DC4K provides age-appropriate activities and support for children ages 5 – 12 whose parents are going through separation or divorce. Both groups meet at the same time at StoneBridge Church in The Woodlands.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT & RECOVERY GROUPS MEETING AT STONEBRIDGE
StoneBridge also provides meeting space for independent recovery and support organizations serving The Woodlands and surrounding communities, including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Al-Anon, Survivors of Suicide and others. These groups are independently operated and are not ministries of or directly affiliated with StoneBridge Church, but we’re grateful to provide a safe and convenient place for people to find support.

Looking for Professional Counseling?
Care and recovery groups can provide important community and encouragement, but there are times when professional counseling may also be helpful. StoneBridge does not have licensed counselors or therapists on staff, but we provide referrals to trusted mental health professionals and resources in the community.

No. You do not have to attend StoneBridge Church to participate in GriefShare, DivorceCare, or the independent community support groups that meet on our campus. These groups are open to people from The Woodlands and surrounding communities.

Yes. StoneBridge offers DivorceCare for adults navigating separation or divorce, along with DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) for children ages 5–12. The groups meet at the same time so parents and children can receive support together.
Yes. Independent recovery organizations, including Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon, meet on the StoneBridge campus. These groups operate independently from StoneBridge Church. Current meeting times are listed above.
