SPRING BREAK TRIP
TO CALLAWAY, FLORIDA

 

Date:
Sunday, March 10th to Saturday, March 16th

Location and Travel:
Staying at Calisle Baptist Church in Callaway (sleeping on gym/room floors)
835 S Berthe Ave, Panama City, FL 32404

For travel we will be renting 15 passanger vans and driving the 10 hours to Callaway, Fl.

Cost:
$300 per person.
Covers meals at Calisle Baptist, one dinner out, travel expenses, and supplies
Does not cover meals during travel.  

Goal of Trip: 
Callaway, Fl is a small town with lower income families that need help restoring their homes after being hit by Hurricane Michael.  Calisle Baptist Church has become a relief HQ where teams have been organized and sent out to surrounding areas.  During the week we will be assigned projects through through their project manager.

The majority of work will be roof repair, siding repair, and yard work.

Who can go:
This trip is open to individuals and families.  Anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Because minors will be on the trip all participates 18 years and older will be required to take a one hour online ministry safe course.  After registering a link for the course will be sent to your email.
