A principle of foundation is something that all parents want to instill in their children as they raise them. At Stonebridge Church we are starting a new enrichment program that will assist pre -schoolers in building classroom readiness skills.

Each semester we will offer different classes.  By enrolling in one of these classes you will be enriching your families lives by enhancing the quality of your family’s foundational structure of communication along with community.

Class Benefits:  Social Skills are considered to be a “soft skill”.  Social Skills allow individuals to interact with others in environmental situations and be successful.  With the increasing use of technology in today’s world, Social Skills are still something children need to navigate the world they live in.  Social Skills promote: i.e., communication, relationship building, and task productivity.

Early social emotional skills are related to how socially, emotionally, academically and professionally skilled we are later in life.” (Jones, Greenberg, & Crowley, 2015)

Class Materials:  All materials that the child will need to be successful for the enrichment program will be provided by the Instructor.  Each child will need to bring a water bottle and small backpack to place folder in.

Class Misc. Information:  This program is meant to be an engaging enrichment class for your child.  Each child will need to follow the behavior and listening expectations of the teachers and be able to separate from their caregiver with ease and transition into the classroom setting.  We do understand that children can get sick from time to time.  Please adhere to our sick policy when bringing your child to class.  Due to the nature of the class we cannot offer any makeups for this enrichment program.  At the end of each class a handout will be given over the social skill lesson that was introduced in the class.
