The purpose of our trip is to partner with Cru ministries and their mission staff to build relationships and share the love of Jesus with high school and college students through fun events, activities, and small group conversations.

TRIP DETAILS
June 16th -23rd
Cost: $2750
Application Deposit – $150
1st Payment due April 1st – $1,400

Trip Schedule
1. Depart from IAH on June 16th
We will leave from the church on Sunday, June 13th, 2024 to depart from IAH at 3:45pm. Our flight will go from Houston to Frankurt to Tiranna.
2. Work with Students in Durres
The first part of the week we will be partnering with the Cru staff to host a Texas party and build relationships with the students.
3. Helping at Cru Beach Camp
At the end of the week, we will be helping at Cru’s Beach Camp called “The Lighhouse”where we will be hanging out with local high school students. They love practicing their english and hearing about our Christian worldview.
4. Arrive at IAH on June 23rd
We will arrive back in Houston on Sunday, June 23rd. We will have a bus pick us up and take us back to the church.

Last year was our first trip to Albania with members from the church. Its amazing to see how much impact a group can have in just a few days and how those relationships continue to grow after we leave. Below is a newsletter from Cru thanking our team and sharing one of the stories from our week.
UPDATE ON THE LIGHTHOUSE
Cru is excited to announce the completion of phase 2 of The Lighthouse. The new indoor dining area was completed last July and has made a huge difference in the beach camp experience.
