Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
So this morning before the 9:30 service, right before we went up stage, we were praying and after we prayed, I got really excited about our memory verse for the week. So excited I lost track of the time and we didn’t get everyone in place before we started the first song. So it was a rough beginning, which was completely my fault.
Why was I so excited? Well read it. Faultless………really?
Wow!!! Not only faultless, but faultless before the presence of the glory of God.
And not only presented faultless, but presented faultless with exceeding joy.
I know I’m joyful to be presented faultless, but God our Savior is exceedingly joyful to present me faultless. Astounding!!!
So for the biggest exam of my life, I already got a 100, because Jesus took all my faults on Himself,
and presented me faultless before the presence of the glory of God.
In the Old Testament, it was believed because of God’s holiness, that no one could see God face to face and live. Moses asked if he could see God’s face, God said no, but He would hide Moses in the cleft of a rock, and pass by where Moses could catch a small glimpse of God’s back. That was all Moses could handle.
Because of Jesus, we will be presented faultless, joyfully presented, exceedingly joyfully presented, before the presence of the Glory of God.
No wonder I was late. I’m still astounded.
You ever struggled with perfectionism. Jesus has the cure for your overachieving attempts to measure up.
It’s called faultless.
What a Saviour!!!!
