I love my children. When our three children were small, we bought a huge dark green, butter soft, leather recliner. Why so big? So that all three of our children could sit in my lap at the same time. I never wanted to turn away one of my children. I wanted them to be able to sit in my lap whenever they wanted to.
Worship is like that. Our Heavenly Father loves us and invites us to enjoy His love and affection in worship.
Jesus said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God –
We are drawn to worship when we know we’re loved. When my children reach to me for a hug, they never hesitate or wonder if I will welcome them into my arms. They are secure in my love for them and they fear no rejection. They are free in my love.
Do you love your children? Consider how much your Heavenly Father loves you. Enjoy His presence, love and tender affection every day. That is worship!!!
