Our hope for the concert of worship is that this worship event will act as a springboard for the StoneBridge family to more consistently move into the presence of God.

We will make a recording of this live worship with some of our favorites worship songs so that we can all listen and sing along in our homes and in our cars.  Hopefully this will remind us of God’s presence wherever we are and whatever we’re doing. And we hope it will cause our Sunday worship together to be more powerful and demonstrate more fully God’s presence in our midst.

I believe all of us are created with a God shaped vacuum in our hearts. Each day we fill the vacuum with something. But only One thing can satisfy the human heart.   God Himself.

My prayer is that together we can discover how to become the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. (John 4:23).

As I look at scripture one thing about worship become very clear, worship must be done in love.

Without love worship cannot happen.   Jesus said it was the most important thing in life. “to love the Lord with all your heart…..”

When we surrender our agenda and seek to bring God pleasure in all of life, that is worship.   There is great freedom in living a life of worship.  Anything we do from work to play is an act of worship, if we are living in total surrender to God.

My prayer for the StoneBridge family is that all of us will daily live a life full of the love and freedom that is found through surrender to God.  Isaiah describes what that freedom is like when we don’t get ahead of God with our time table and our agenda.

He writes,

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

That’s what it’s like to live a life of worship.

Have a great day!!!
