The GAP began with the basic idea that 5th and 6th Grade kids are culturally different now than 20, 15 or even 10 years ago. Faced with ever increasing responsibilities in school, increased immorality in our world, and less connection with their parents, we need to meet these various needs head on!
Today our programs reach 5th and 6th graders throughout our community. We hope to impact your 5th and 6th grader and bring him or her the message of Jesus Christ in a truly life changing way!
Lastly, know that every program, event, or activity we offer is designed to reinforce our number one goal of bringing your child into a stronger relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We desire to reinforce respect for God and others by constantly stressing the importance of "loving God with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind, and all our strength."
During the school year and summer, we hire high school students to be GAP Interns. These interns develop relationships with each of the students through leading weekly Bible Studies and various hangouts throughout the year.
