A Bible study experience for the summer that you don't want to miss!
Thursday Evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in The Lodge
June 17th, July 15th, August 5th
Each
Bible study lesson covers various Great Women of the Bible. You will
see how Cyndy's teaching empowers and encourages ladies to grab the
abundant life God desires for all of us to have. We will spend time
together walking in the sandals of ordinary women that God used in
extraordinary ways. Studies include materials used during the learning experience that you can take home for personal reflection time. There is no formal homework!
Here is a description of the lessons to look forward to:
JUNE 17th - Proverbs 31 Woman - "Self-Worth: Dress Size checking Available in Aisle Three"
You are "fearfully and wonderfully made" and yet many days we don't believe it, we don't feel it, and we don't live it out in all we do and say and think. Instead of focusing on our bad hair days, our 20 extra pounds, and our lack of self-control - become the Precious Princess that Jesus sees, loves, and adores! Together we will examine God's measurements versus the World's.
July 15th - Ruth and Naomi - "Lifestyles of Lemonade, Love, and Loyalty"
Naomi and Ruth go together like peanut butter and jelly. Their story is one that started from the pits of despair and ended in fulfillment and grace. We have a choice to choose joy, or to be bitter and have our hearts harden to circumstances around us. Together we will see how to find joy in our everyday lives.
August 5th - Busy Women - "Fall Cleaning: Retreat, Refresh, and Renew"
If your life and home are chaotic, stressed, and messy - when do you find time or energy to seek out your Father? Are you weighed down by life and "stuff" that gets thrown at you? Together we will clean house, so you can live in freedom and peace!
