Hope’s Path is a faith-based transitional living program that exists to help young men who age out of foster care transition into successful, independent living. StoneBridge has been a critical partner in getting this initiative off the ground. Hope’s Path moved it’s first group of 6 residents into the house in the beginning of December 2016.
Here are a few ongoing ways you can partner with Hope’s Path:
Mentoring – Hope’s Path uses a mentoring program called ‘Open Table.’ The open table model forms a ‘board’ for each resident and they meet weekly or every other week in order to encourage the resident towards achieving their spiritual, physical, financial, educational and vocational goals. If you’re interested please email Jeremiah at firstname.lastname@example.org
Life skills Training and General Volunteering – All of our residents will be going through an extensive course of life skills training. If you have a life skill like financial management, nutrition, job interviewing, etc, then we would love for you to apply to be one of our guest teachers. Please go to http://www.hopespath.org/volunteer/ and fill out the ‘volunteer interest’ form. This is form will help us know your area of interest in volunteering.
Workday Projects – We usually have a few workdays every year where we do yard work, light construction, and other projects. If you have skill sets in this area, we would love to know about it.
