This year, we’re partnering with two ministries run by StoneBridge members for our Holiday Giving campaign: Don Johnson and his Campus of Hope homeless dayshelter, and Ryan Highley’s Destiny Sports ministry. Read on for details on both projects and to donate online!
Campus of Hope:
A dayshelter serving over 80 individuals a day in Conroe, the Campus of Hope needs funds to relocate their kitchen, and to update their bedrooms, bathroom, and a utility area. The whole project will cost about $5,000.
The shelter is also in need of material donations like clothing, toiletries, non-perishable food items, books, blankets, and sleeping bags. Volunteers are also invited to come and serve or assist with work projects!
StoneBridge 2013 Summer Camp Fund:
Last summer, StoneBridge partnered with Destiny Sports to host over 500 kids on our property for a free, Gospel-centered sports camp. It costs StoneBridge $30 per camper to host the event, not to mention some infrastructure costs for our sport venues. Will you donate to StoneBridge to enable us to host even more campers next summer?
Camp Destiny also is on the lookout for volunteers to help coach sports clinics and facilitate the camp week next summer. If you’re interested in donating your time, please email Ryan Highley (coaches) or Becky Canterbury (logistics/facilitation).
