Jesus prayed for you and me

John 17:20
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

What does Jesus pray for you and me?

He prayed that we would be unified.

He then stated, that our unity would be a witness to the world, that Jesus was God's Son.

Wow!!! Unity must be pretty important.

He then prayed that we would be in intimate fellowship with Him and with our heavenly Father.

He prayed again for our unity. saying that our oneness would show the world that God loved us.

Then He prayed that we would be with Him, that we would go where He goes, and that we would see His glory.

Jesus once again prays that we would be in intimate fellowship with Him.

So what is God's will for your life and mine?

Perhaps it might be wonderful fellowship with our Christian family, and an intimate fellowship with Our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Hmm to love God and love others.

Could His will really be that simple?

John 17:20-24
Jesus Prays for All Believers

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
