Recently, I heard someone say that the Bible makes reference to “do not fear” 365 times, one for each day of the year. Now, I did not have time to count myself but I did look it up online and found that there is a huge debate on this! I have to say, I would love it if God gave us a verse on fear for every day of the year. I believe fear is one of the biggest things we struggle with so I would not put it past Him to emphasize it that much. However, shouldn’t just one “fear not” from the Creator of you and me be enough to carry us? So regardless of how many times it is referenced- whether it is exactly 365 or not- be grateful that He says it. Thank Him that He is on our side. After all, “if God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

Here are a few of my favorite “fear” verses to help you through today…

“For I hold you by your right hand- I, the Lord your God. And I say to you,
‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.” Isaiah 41:13

“Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Deuteronomy 31:6

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:7

“So we say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?” Hebrews 13:6

In Him,
